Anyone who has followed Beauty Tukura’s rise in the lifestyle and entertainment industry would know that the reality TV star has always been akin to exploring different sides of the industry. So when on the latest episode of My Beautyful Life, she revealed she would like to get into the Nollywood industry, it was not as shocking as it might have been for most.
From the documentation of her journey to becoming an actress to a behind-the-scenes look to her iconic fashion moment at the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards, here are some highlights from My Beautyful Life Episode 4.
Beauty Delves Into Acting
In this episode, she majorly shows us how she prepared to play the role of Leila in an upcoming short film where she plays the lead role alongside ex-BBNaija housemate, Sir Dee. She meets with the film director and Sir Dee, her co-lead, who takes her through all she needs to know before she comes on set.
Consequently, she is on set doing her thing and seemingly killing the show while filming a kissing scene that has had her fans talking on social media. Altogether she sees this project as a way for her to prepare for future acting roles.
Beauty Takes Dance Lessons
Beauty is not the best dancer, but for her role as Leila, she had to learn a few slow dancing steps with her partner to ensure that the scene in the film works. For this task, they consult the help of BDC Lagos, where both Sir Dee and her, with the help of Bunmi, their dance instructor, teach the cast how to dance.
Although it was a bunch of simple moves, it proved to be almost impossible for Beauty and Sir Dee to pull off. However, they made it work in the end.
Sir Dee and Beauty Bond Over Common Language
What better way is there to bond with a co-worker than bonding over your culture and language? Considering that Beauty is Hausa and Sir Dee is also Hausa, they bonded over small talks during a lunch outing Beauty had set so they could get acquainted while receiving some advice before they eventually got to work on set.
Fortunately, there was chemistry, and they both seemed to like the idea of working together.
Doyin and Modella Prove Friendship Bond With Beauty
Doyin, Modella, and Beauty have become the three musketeers. So when we saw the ladies getting together again to attend the 2023 Soundcity MVP Awards, it was lovely. Out of all the housemates in the Level Up set of BBNaija, it seems they have formed a strong bond that allows them to constantly plan their schedules around each other.
It’s nice to see.
