‘Stranger,’ produced by Louddaa, is Simi’s first single of the year, following the release of her highly acclaimed and reflective album ‘To Be Honest.’ The Nigerian Idol judge released an 11-track album on June 3, 2023, with hit singles like ‘Loyal,’ ‘Balance,’ ‘Naked Wire,’ and more.
Fans of the music star have taken to social media to discuss how emotional the lyrics to ‘Stranger’ are. One fan said, ‘Lyrics that would make you cry.’ Another fan said, ‘Simi went back to the roots for this Stranger song.’
When she released her album ‘To Be Honest’, she mentioned that it took her a while to release it because she wanted to tell her story. She said, ‘This one was supposed to be my story. Just me.’
