AG Baby is coming, but this time he is back as Tio Tequila. The music star revealed that he is naming his fifth studio album ‘Tequila Ever After.’
In a video he dropped on Monday, June 19, 2023, the music star revealed that he was inspired to name his fifth studio after Tequila because of his experience. According to him, when drinking the liquor, the vibe around is always chill.
“Imagine a Tequila conversation or Whiskey conversation, everything is chill, right? And then when you’re drinking, that’s what you are doing, you are just vibing,” he said.
From the vibe of the songs played in the video Adekunle Gold is going for the slow grind, mellow vibe type of album. An album that typically recounts the experience of what it’s like to go on a night out under the influence.
“I am exactly who I think I am. It has taken me time to get here but now that I am here, there’s no looking back. I have unlocked a different level and potential. I am finally celebrating my growth and my wins. I’m living life to the dullest and enjoying my success, and I invite you to join me on the wildest ride of my life.” He tweeted.
A few months back, the music star changed his social media usernames to Tio Tequila, unknown to music lovers, Adekunle Gold has entered a new phase in his career and is ready to successfully channel a new image. The last time the music star renamed himself was when he released his third studio album ‘Afro Pop Vol.1’ in 2020.
The music star, who has introduced us to a new Adekunle Gold with a double release on May 24, 2023, is about to take us to his intended destination with his forthcoming album.
In March 2023, he released his first single of the year, ‘Party No Dey Stop‘ featuring, the chart-topping single has currently amassed over 32 million streams worldwide. His single ‘Do You Mind’ released on May 24, 2023, has amassed over 3 million streams worldwide.
