In the past year, Nigerian artistes have been releasing soundtracks with international film franchises, and the latest addition to the ever-growing list is Wizkid as he features on the soundtrack of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse film.
‘Link Up,’ which features International acts like Don Toliver, BEAM, and Toian, with American record producer Metro Boomin being the lead acts, was produced by BEAM, AL Cres, Metro Boomin, and Peter Lee Johnson.
The album features International acts like Future, Uzi and J.I.D, Swae Lee, Nav, Don Toliver, Coi Leray, and more.
Fans of the music star have taken to their social media platforms to share their excitement. One said, ‘Do you know how crazy it is for the soundtrack with features to actually be in the cartoon.’ Another said, ‘Who else can’t get enough of Wizkid’s verse on Metro Boomin’s Link Up? The verse is too short. I want more.’
Wizkid has been having a great year, especially with his scheduled More Love Less Ego Tour starting in June and his latest feat as one of the headliners of the Afro Nation Festival 2023 in Miami held on Sunday, May 29, 2023.
The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel is the latest animated film that continues the story of Miles Morales, the teenager trying to serve his city by saving every universe of Spider-People from an unknown evil.
