Four months after the release of his hit single ‘Gbese’ featuring Tiwa Savage, Majeeed has released another major feature single, Waka Jeje, with BNXN on July 5, 2023.
The single produced by Hullabeats tells the story of how Majeeed and BNXN are thankful for their talent and how they don’t look like what they’ve been through.
For Majeeed, Waka Jeje is not just a song, ‘it’s a testimony.’ He said, ‘When BNXN said I’m a flawed man with a perfect God,’ I already knew it was a wrap, thank you for blessing my record.”
Since 2023 started, Majeeed has been making big strides in the industry as he started the year with a feature with Tiwa Savage that earned him over 12 million streams worldwide. He also performed with Tiwa Savage at the ninth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs).
Although Majeeed debuted in 2020, the fast rising star has released some of the best singles out of the industry. With a highly acclaimed EP ‘Bitter Sweet’ to his name and multiple hit singles, including ‘Yawa No Dey End,’ ‘Stop Nonsense’ and more.
