A video showing the moment Vice President Kashim Shettima on Saturday offered former president Muhammad Buhari, his seat at a recent event in Maiduguri, Borno State has surfaced on social media.
In the video sighted by Naija News, the vice president could be seen visibly nudging the former president to take his seat at the event.
Buhari, who refused to accept despite the pleas from the vice president finally succumbed to the pressure, taking the seat of the vice president.
The former president was seen surrounded by a host of other guests at the event.

Peter Obi Reacts As Nigerian Lady Returns Misplaced $70,000
Meanwhile, the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, has applauded a female staff member of Eko Hotel and Suites, identified as Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, for returning misplaced $70,000 to a customer in Lagos.
Naija News learnt that Mary, upon discovery of the bag containing the huge sum of money, reported the incident to the hotel management.
The hotel’s General Manager, in line with the establishment’s policy of integrity and transparency, promptly initiated the process of returning the money to its rightful owner.
