Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has advised Nigerians to make use of the current crisis in Niger Republic to empower themselves financially.
Naija News recalls that the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Authority of Heads of State and Federal Government had given the mastermind of the supposed coup in Niger Republic, General Abdourahamane Tchiani, seven days to return power to Mohammed Bazoom.
The decision formed part of resolutions reached at the emergency meeting of ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government, which was held in Abuja.
Other resolutions at the end of the meeting included a stern warning that if the alleged coup plotters failed to restore political stability in seven days, ECOWAS might use force.
However, in a post via Twitter, Reno Omokri pointed out how terrorism and banditry have reduced in the country, stressing that the current crisis in Niger will soon affect food prices.
Suggesting means Nigerians can make money from the situation, Reno said people could engage in buying, rearing and selling livestock.
According to him, there is always an opportunity to make income anywhere there is a crisis.
He wrote: “Terror and banditry have reduced. The tension between Nigeria and Niger will soon affect food prices. Instead of taking photos for the gram and indulging in borrow pose, gather your small money.
“Go to Kebbi. Buy three or four goats or rams. Bring them to Lagos, Abuja, Enugu, or Port Harcourt. Wait for three weeks. Then sell them. Then repeat the process. This time, add a few bags of rice and beans.
“Anytime and anywhere there is crisis, there is always opportunity. One follows the other as though it were its shadow”
