Former Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, has reacted as the name of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, appears on the Bayelsa Gubernatorial campaign councils of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Naija News earlier reported that the National Working Committee of the APC led by Abdullahi Ganduje has set up three National Campaign Councils for the November 11 governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi states.
Wike, who happens to be a member of PDP, is one of the 123-member Campaign Council for Bayelsa state.
Recall that earlier in the month, PDP had inaugurated a 72-man campaign Council team for the state chaired by Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas, with Nyesom Wike as a member.
Though Wike was absent at the inauguration of the PDP campaign Council.
In a post via Twitter, Bashir pondered on the political party that Wike would choose to honour and take up the assignment.
According to the former Muhammadu Buhari’s aide, Wike’s decision between APC and PDP will undoubtedly be intriguing.
He tweeted, “Both APC and PDP have listed Minister Wike in their Bayelsa State Gubernatorial Campaign Council. It now remains to be seen which party he will ultimately choose to honour and take up the assignment. Wike’s decision will undoubtedly be intriguing.”
