Allegedly stolen car flips, seven teenagers arrested

Seven teenagers have been arrested after an allegedly stolen car flipped on the Gold Coast.

The car was allegedly stolen from Carrara at 10.40 am on Friday. It was later spotted at Hope Island at 2.30 pm.

A Police Air helicopter tracked the car to Waterford West before it crashed on Albert Street shortly after.

Seven teenagers aged 15,13,16,14,14,14, and 14 were arrested following the incident.

A 15-year-old boy from Oxenford has been charged with two counts of unlawful motor vehicle and one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle and fraud.

A 13-year-old boy from Coomera has been charged with the unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

Both were denied bail and appeared in Southport Children's Court today.

A 16-year-old girl from Kingston has been arrested and charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle. 

She was refused bail and appeared in Beenleigh Children's Court today.

A 14-year-old boy from Upper Coomera has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Two 14-year-old boys from Pimpama and Southport have been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

All three will face Southport Children's Court on September 27.

A 14-year-old girl from Kingston has been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

She will face Beenleigh Children's Court on October 9.
