Dozens of car tyres have been deflated in a wealthy Melbourne suburb in the name of climate activism.
Up to 20 SUVs and four-wheel-drives were targeted in Toorak between 8pm on Thursday and 7.30am today.
Notes were left on the windshields of the affected cars, outlining the environmental impact of the vehicles.

The tyres were deflated but not slashed, according to Acting Senior Sargent Mark Farrugia.
The alleged offender is facing tampering with a motor vehicle charges if caught.
"(If) we do find some damage to either the tyres or the vehicles, we'll be looking at criminal damage," Farrugia said.
