The Kaduna Governorship Election Tribunal is set to give a verdict on the petition challenging the election of Uba Sani as the governor of the state.
Security measures have been intensified in and around the court premises.
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Isa Ashiru, is challenging the victory of Governor Uba Sani of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the 2023 general election, citing irregularities and electoral fraud.
Access to the court premises is strictly limited, with only a select few journalists granted entry.
The three-member panel led by Justice Victor Oviawe are not physically present in court as they will deliver the judgment via Zoom.
