Reality TV Star Prince Nelson has revealed that he decided not to join the original BBNaija All Stars lineup because he was making plans to launch his record label later in the year, with his younger brother, Valentine ‘Valentiiono’ Ogechukwu as the first signee.
The media personality who later made it into the house as a houseguest disclosed this during an exclusive interview with Netng on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
“I didn’t originally come into the house as a housemate because there was a lot of work in preparation for the launch of my record label, but, eventually, when Biggie called the second time, I used it as an opportunity to tell the world what I was working on,” he told Netng.
Prince has always been known for his musical prowess, but instead of venturing into the industry as a musician, he has decided to invest in the music business. In his words, “I’ve always loved music from childhood, the only thing is that I don’t know how to sing. For me, I thought, If I can’t make music, I can do the business while actualising I and my brother’s dreams.”
Following his eviction from Big Brother’s house, fans of the show were confused, especially since he was not up for possible eviction. Prince cleared rumours that he was possibly evicted earlier than other house guests because he spilled some outside information to the housemates.
“I don’t know about who spilled what. I was intentional about not saying anything to anybody because we were warned sternly by Biggie that if we said anything to anybody, we would be removed from the house immediately. I just gave people generic answers despite the pressure,” he disclosed.
In two weeks, he was able to win multiple tasks with his musical prowess while changing the dynamics of certain ships in the house.
