Police are investigating after an elderly man was found dead with serious injuries in Queensland.
A 75-year-old man was found unresponsive with serious injuries at The Esplanade in Torquay, Hervey Bay, following reports of an assault at 7.50pm.
Emergency responders tried to revive him, but he was unable to be resuscitated.

A crime scene has been established by police as they investigate the incident.
Anyone with information, dashcam or CCTV footage from the area are being urged to contact the authorities.
No arrests have been made.
