Emergency warnings are in place for multiple bushfires in New South Wales, two of which are in the Tenterfield area, in the state's Northern Tablelands.
A blaze in the Clarence Valley region was issued a fresh emergency warning on Tuesday night after a south-easterly wind change arrived, sending the fire in a northerly direction.
The fire burning at Glens Creek Road, Nymboidam – approximately 25km south-west of Grafton – has already burnt through more than 8000 hectares and residents are being advised to leave before it's too late.

"Residents in the vicinity of Old Glen Innes Road, north of Glen Creek Road, south of Conroys Road should seek shelter now, it is too late to leave," the Rural Fire Service (RFS) said.
"There is a reduced threat for people in the vicinity of Armidale Road in the Blaxlands Creek, Blaxlands Flat and Nymbodia area, but people should continue to monitor conditions."
An evacuation centre has been set up at the Grafton Racecourse.
The blaze brought back painful memories for some residents, who are all too familiar with the threat after Black Summer.
"We went through it in 2019 and we are completely distraught … we lost my mum's house and we lost everything we owned," Nymboida resident Elizabeth Moore told 9News.
"Our plan is to stay because it isnt the type of fire that we had last time."
Residents at Tenterfield near the Queensland border were seeking refuge at the local showground.
Among them was Leo Perkins, who only moved to town today.
"So this is my introduction to the Tenterfield life, here at the evacuation centre," he told 9News.
A further four fires across the state have been reduced to watch and act warnings, as almost 1000 RFS personnel battle blazes.
A grass fire at Cooks Gap, which earlier was threatening an explosives storage facility in the state's Central West, has been downgraded.
The earlier emergency warning – when nearby residents were told to flee this afternoon amid fears the blaze will hit the stored explosives – has now become an advice warning.
"A fire is burning in the vicinity of Ulan Road, Cooks Gap 2km south of Ulan," the RFS said.
"The alert level for this fire has been downgraded to advice as conditions ease."

The RFS advised people near the blazes to seek shelter in solid structures and to monitor the situation.
Another blaze that had reached emergency level at the NSW-Queensland border town of Boggabilla has since been downgraded to watch and act.
It comes as Queensland battles several fires of its own, with more than 80 per cent of local government areas in the state under total fire bans.
