Summer Qamp is Jen Markowitz’s doc that takes audiences behind the curtain on this haven for LGBTQ2S+ youth, far away from the fierce political battles currently being waged against queer expression and gender identity. Cabin Music, meanwhile, documents the story of Edmonton-born piano prodigy James Carson whose work was being performed by the ESO when he was 16, who then studied at New England Conservatory before walking away, hoping to create a new form of music in his hand-build hay bale cabin.
