American Rap Legend, Sean Combs popularly known as Diddy, was taken to court by his ex-girlfriend Cassie who is also an American singer for allegedly raping and abusing her for 10 years.However, Diddy and his ex-girlfriend have settled amicably just days after she accused him of rape and abuse.

Cassie released a statement on Thursday, November 16, 2023, saying that she was raped, faced domestic violence, lured into a drug fuelled lifestyle and abuse in her relationship with the American Rapper.

” After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships”.

It was reported that after the lawsuit became public, Cassie’s lawyer (Douglas Wigdor) revelaed that the rapper offered Cassie money in exchange for her silence but she rejected it And the lawyer also claimed that Diddy raped Cassie in her home after she tried to leave him.

However, Diddy’s lawyer,Ben Bradman, in a statement said that Cassie was just trying to tarnish Diddy’s reputation and filing a lawsuit filled with baseless and outrageous lies.

Diddy and his Ex both disclosed in statements that was released on Friday, November 17, 2023, that the matter have been resolved amicably.

Cassie released a statement on Friday, November 17, 2023, she said ” I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans and lawyer for their unwavering support.”

Diddy also Released a statement saying ” We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
