One month after Nigerian singer Azeez ‘Naira Marley’ Fashola and Sam Larry were apprehended for their alleged connections to the death of Nigerian music star Ilerioluwa ‘Mohbad’ Aloba, they’ve been granted bail.
A Magistrate’s Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, on Monday, October 6, 2023, granted the duo bail with the bail amount set at ₦20m.
Furthermore, they’ve been ordered to surrender their international passports and make a weekly appearance at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Panti, until their scheduled court appearance on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
The magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, also issued a warning against direct contact regarding the case, stating that any such attempts would be recorded and could be disclosed in court.
