Temmy D is set to release a new single titled ‘Survival,’ inspired by his struggles in the music industry. The track, to be released by midnight Friday, November 17, 2023, is the title track to his forthcoming album.
In a 60-second video shared by the artiste to Netng, he disclosed that this new single is the perfect introduction to who he is as an artiste, especially as an artiste who lived in Bariga, Somolu, imbibing both street culture and consuming R&B music.
“Survival, my new single, talks about my challenges in the music industry and how I’ve been making music for a very long time, and now I’m signed to Naija Ninja. This is simply the best song to introduce me,” he told Netng.
On his part, Naija Ninja Records Co-founder Baba Dee shared that he was thrilled to finally welcome him into the family as he is confident in what Temmy D as an artiste has to offer.
“The exceptional talent of Temmy D is beyond dispute. Temidayo ‘Temmy D’ Afolabi is Naija Ninja’s new signee, who has been imbibing the record label’s culture for years as an independent artiste passionate about making music. Although the artiste officially made his debut in 2019, he revealed to Netng that he had envisioned himself as an artiste since he was eight years old.
