Two children have died after being pulled from Perth's Swan River on New Year's Eve.
The boy and girl, believed to both be under 10, were pulled from the water near Burswood Park about 5.25pm yesterday.
Eight ambulance crews, including critical care paramedics, rushed to the scene and took the pair to Perth Children's Hospital but police later confirmed they had died.

The area along the banks was busy with families gathered to celebrate New Year's Eve.
One bystander told 9News he saw a man jump in the river and pull out the children, who had been floating in the water before a woman who said she was a nurse started to perform CPR.
"From that moment, everyone's just gathered around, you know, like there's a lot of panic and chaos," he said.
"And that's when the mother came over and oh my God, as soon as she came over, she like dropped on the floor. She collapsed."
Another onlooker praised the efforts of the multiple bystanders and first responders who tried to save the children.
The couple of them that pulled them out, they were there from the beginning to the end and they did an amazing job, honestly," he said.
