Chixmas: Local comedian Kathleen McGee recently had her head shaved onstage at a Chixdiggit! show in Saskatoon. “Our friend McGee’s got the big C,” Chixdiggit! said on its Facebook page, noting the Edmonton comedian “for whatever reason” wanted to play a show with the band for her bucket list. “We’re all lucky to know her.” Lucky for us, there’s a second round of this pair-up happening Saturday as the onetime Sub Pop band plays an Edmonton show, the lineup also including The Ramblin’ Ambassadors and Midnight Peg.
