Four other people have been charged in relation to the gangland murder amid months of investigations.
Detectives in September charged the alleged "mastermind" of the shooting, which they believe was motivated by an outstanding $500,000 debt to an organised crime entity.
The 42-year-old man was arrested at the same time as another man, 31, accused of helping to co-ordinate the brazen daylight attack.
The men cannot be named for legal reasons.
In October, Majok Angelo Deng, 27, and Chom Manut Guam Chom, 28, were charged over allegedly preparing and placing vehicles used in the murder.
These men remain before the courts.
