The 300 page book also seeks to promote a strong bond of friendship amongst children, encouraging them to be team players thus helping them both academically and socially.

The book serves as a tool to encourage children to read more and boost their vocabulary.

“When Tutu Bento and his friends decide to compete in the annual Festival of Sounds, they quickly discover that skill alone will not be enough to see them through.

Tutu and his friends must find ways to work together and overcome the challenges they are faced with on their journey to perfect their own sound – Music Fusion.

In an interview after the launch, the author said her children inspired her to write the book.

According to Selassie Agroh, she has cultivated a reading habit where she reads African story books with her children.

With a deep-rooted passion for creation, she excels in various domains, whether it’s crafting sustainable architectural designs, experimenting with new culinary recipes, capturing the beauty of picturesque locations through photography, or acquiring new skills.

From a young age, Selassie was an avid reader and had a knack for crafting her own imaginative stories, as well as documenting folklore she encountered.

As her daughter embarked on her own reading journey, Selassie recognized the dearth of diverse literature that resonated with her African heritage and identity. This realization ignited a serious commitment to her writing endeavors, with the goal of publishing novels that embody her cultural roots.

Selassie leverages her wealth of experiences to convey powerful narratives, aiming to make the act of reading a delightful and enriching experience for children while instilling positive values within them.
