A high profile Victorian identity known to Australian celebrities and sporting figures has been charged with rape.
The man can't be identified after winning a legal fight to keep his name secret.
Barrister Dermot Dann KC fought to keep the details of the case suppressed, citing mental health issues including PTSD following the man's arrest.

The father, in his 60s, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman at an apartment in March, 9News can exclusively reveal.
He was arrested on March 24 and interviewed the following day, but was released and later charged on August 8.
He now faces two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and one count of sexual assault, but denies the allegations.
Four expert witnesses including a GP, psychologists, and a psychiatrist were called to give evidence over three days.

The court heard the accused has avoided public places like supermarkets and sporting grounds since being diagnosed with PTSD, but the prosecution did question two recent holidays, including overseas trips.
"He was put in a cell which he's never been to before, he was totally humiliated," the man's GP told the court.
A psychologist who was called to give evidence said the man's depression and anxiety had been exacerbated by the case.
"He was terrified that this would be public and his children would be on the receiving end of some comments as well as his aging parents," the psychologist said.
A magistrate has agreed to suppress the man's identity, fearing his mental health would deteriorate.
