Nollywood actors Tobi Bakre and Kunle Remi have secured their debut NET Honours nominations for the Most Popular Actor category.
The nominations were announced as part of the unveiling of the seventh edition of the annual people’s choice awards on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Remi and Bakre’s nominations in the Most Popular Actor category come on the heels of their impressive performances throughout the year, highlighted by their roles in movies such as ‘Anikulapo,’ ‘Brotherhood,’ and ‘Gangs Of Lagos.’
They will go head-to-head for the top prize alongside other leading actors like Daniel Etim-Effiong, Timini Egbuson, and Femi Adebayo, all of whom have also earned nominations in the Most Popular Actor category.
Tobi Bakre has also secured a nomination in the Most Searched Actor category, sharing the spotlight with stars like Mike Folarin, Bolanle Ninalowo, Kanaga Jnr, and Chidi Mokeme.
The winners of the seventh NET Honours Class of 2023 will be unveiled through Netng’s digital platforms on Friday, December 22, 2023.
Online voting for the 18 voting categories is open from Friday, December 15, to Tuesday, December 19, 2023, on thenet.ng/voting.
