Westpac has apologised for an online banking outage that has sparked a string of complaints from customers.
The Australian bank acknowledged the problem just before 9.20pm today.
"We're aware that customers are currently experiencing issues accessing account information in online and mobile banking," it said, on social media.

"Our teams are working to fix the issue. We apologise for any inconvenience and will continue to share updates here."
Customers on social media said when they logged in they couldn't see any information about their accounts or cards.
"Any idea what's happening with Westpac online services?" one X user said.
"My account seems to have disappeared."
Outage tracking website Downdetector showed a spike in complaints relating to the "big four" bank from about 8.15pm today, with as many as 10,400 reports of problems at one point.
