Three years after his first performance at the Grammys premiere ceremony, Burna Boy is slated to perform on the main stage at the 66th edition of the award show. This makes him the first African act to achieve such a feat.
The Grammy-winning artiste will be performing alongside top acts like Luke Combs, Travis Scott, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and more at the award ceremony set to be held on February 4, 2024.
For this year’s Grammys, Burna Boy was nominated in four categories: Best Melodic Rap Performance for his hit single ‘Sittin On Top Of The World’ featuring 21 Savage and Best African Music for ‘City Boy,’ a single off his latest album ‘I Told Them,’ which also earned him a nomination for Best Global Album. His Wakanda Forever track ‘Alone’ also got a nomination for Best Global Music Performance.
With Burna Boy predicted to take at least two awards home at the award ceremony, the music star is once again gearing to make history with his unrivalled stage presence.
