Former Governor of Lagos State Babatunde Fashola has urged Nigerians to be more optimistic about the country’s prospects and separate government from country.
“When the government disappoints us, it is not our country that has let us down, but the elites and elected leaders. We shouldn’t throw our country under the bus because we are angry with our politicians.”
The Former Power, Works and Housing Minister also revealed that he recieves
₦577,000 monthly pension from Lagos State but none from the federal government.
