The Fiator (stool-father) of Tsito in the Awudome Traditional Area in the Ho West District of the Volta Region has assured of collaborating with the government and private sector to accelerate development in the area.
Fiator Modeku III said priority will be given to educational infrastructure to ensure schools have befitting structures to accommodate pupils to enhance academic activities.
He, therefore, entreated the youth in the area to prioritise education, that it is the surest way of securing a better future and becoming people of substance.
Speaking at his coronation, he stressed that universal health coverage forms a core of his objectives and hence would liaise with non-governmental organisations through his NGO, Footprints of Glory Foundation, to improve health infrastructure, and provide adequate logistics and human resources.
He extended an appeal to the government and non-governmental organisations to accept proposals from his end to support the development of Tsito and the Awudome Traditional area.
Fiator Modeku III also called for peace in the area and urged the youth to get involved and support programs and activities of the traditional authorities.
Fiator Modeku III known in private life as Kafui Kwame Amegbe, is an Architect by profession, who was trained at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of Selicity Limited and Nayramy Enterprise.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of Footprints of Glory Foundation, a nonprofit organization that has made immense contributions to the education sector in the Awudome Traditional area and brought relief to the vulnerable in society.
The coronation ceremony also saw Tsiami of Tsito; Asuo Akutoroe, Fiator Amegbe (female) and Tsiami Ama Betuaku (female) enstooled.
