President Bola Tinubu has rejoiced with his long-time friend and foremost business leader, Mr. Fola Adeola, as he marks his 70th birthday.
Adeola is the founder of Guaranty Trust Bank; founder and chairman of the FATE Foundation, and member of the Commission for Africa.
The President, in a release issued on Wednesday by his Media Adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, felicitated Mr. Adeola for reaching the milestone age and for his numerous contributions to the Nigerian business ecosystem by creating jobs, opening up investment opportunities across sectors, as well as promoting initiatives for the economic advancement of Nigeria.
President Tinubu extolled the brilliance, integrity, courage, and patriotism of the founder of one of Nigeria’s leading banks, describing him as a great asset to the nation.
The President wished the top business leader many more years in good health and strength.

The freezing rain risk kicks in early Wednesday as temperatures hover around the freezing mark, setting the stage for slick roads and icy sidewalks. By the afternoon, though, the city will shake off the deep freeze, climbing to a high of 5 C with steady rain.</p><p>Thursday looks just as soggy, with another high of 6 C and more rain in the forecast before temperatures dip Thursday night, possibly flipping precipitation back to snow.</p><p>The warm spell won't last long as chilly conditions are set to return over the weekend, with temperatures hovering between -10 C and 0 C from Friday to Sunday.</p><p>This sudden swing follows a stretch of winter storms that dumped a hefty layer of snow across the city. And while this week's milder spell might feel like a break from winter, it could also be a preview of what's ahead.</p><p>Forecasters have already hinted at a wetter-than-usual spring on the horizon.
