Two men have died in a "tragic" light plane crash in Queensland's Scenic Rim region.
Police believe the plane had taken off at Boonah airfield, which is an hour south-west of Brisbane, and was heading back there.
It came down near a golf course in Bruckner Hill Road, in neighbouring Dungandan.

Police are still investigating what happened, and want to speak to locals who may have seen the crash around 12 noon.
Acting Inspector Kerry Olsen called the crash a "tragedy".
"If anyone has any form of footage – dash cam, home security of planes flying in the Boonah area if they are able to provide that," she said.
"We are very grateful that even though we have lost two lives, that it was not far worse."
