An elderly woman was indecently assaulted when a man, armed with a knife, broke into her home in the early hours of the morning.
The 76-year-old was asleep on the couch of her home in Heathridge, in Perth's northern suburbs, when the intruder broke in just after midnight on Sunday.
She woke to find the masked man standing over her.

He indecently assaulted her before leaving, police said.
The woman contacted her family, who told her to call the police.
"The report we have received is concerning and is something we are taking very seriously," Detective Senior Sergeant John Motolini, officer in charge of the Sex Assault Squad, said.
"Understandably she's very upset, she is receiving support from her family and West Australian Police."
The man was described as wearing dark-coloured shorts, a t-shirt and a mask covering his face. He is thought to have fled the area on foot.
Police are reviewing some CCTV but have called on neighbours for more, and have asked anyone in the area with video from around the time of the attack to come forward.
