A mother-of-five is dead and the homicide squad is helping investigate a suspected murder-suicide near Ballarat in Victoria.
Police found the body of 42-year-old Rebecca Young inside a home in Sebastopol around 9pm on Friday, near the body of 55-year-old Ian Butler.
Neighbours say they were scared of Butler, who was a proud Bandidos bikie nicknamed 'Sheriff'.
Young had only moved into the home six months ago according to neighbours, who cared for two of her children as investigations dragged through the night.
The neighbours said they heard an argument and the wails of Young's parents at the scene.
Police will not confirm how she or Butler died or what, if any weapons, were collected inside bags of evidence.
Cleaners arrived at the property today which remained under police guard.
Police are not looking for any other suspects.
