Divine ‘Rema’ Ikubor is billed to perform at the 2024 Brit Awards. This makes him the first African artist to perform at the award ceremony.
The Nigerian singer will be performing alongside top acts like Jungle, Raye, Dua Lipa and Kylie Minogue at the award ceremony set to be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024.
Rema has also secured a nomination for ‘International Song Of The Year’ for his hit song ‘Calm Down’. Burna Boy and Asake were also nominated in the ‘International Artist of the Year’ category alongside Lana Del Rey, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Taylor Swift and others.
Rema expressed his excitement after his unveiling as a performer in the award ceremony. He said:“I am honoured to be returning to The O2 to perform at The BRIT Awards this year.”
The 2024 Brit Awards is set to hold at the 20,000-capacity O2 Arena in London, with British TV presenter, Yinka Bokinni and British Radio DJ, Jack Saunders, confirmed as the hosts for the award ceremony.
