Hundreds of thousands will be filling out airport queues and packing out the roads today, ahead of the Easter long weekend.
More than 100,000 people are expected through Sydney Airport in the next 24 hours – the forecast busiest day of the weekend.
Another 50,000 will filter through Brisbane Airport.

People are advised to allow plenty of check-in time, and even to check in online before getting to the airport if possible.
Traffic was already beginning to build on the roads to Sydney Airport ahead of 6am.
People looking to get out of town on the roads should also be aware of traffic hotspots.

In NSW, the Pacific Highway heading north through Wahroonga, Sydney, and Newcastle is expected to be busy, as well as the Great Western Highway through Blackheath.
The southbound Princes Highway in Nowra is also likely to be chock-a-block.
In Melbourne the Monash Freeway and West Gate Bridge are the main pinch points.

Brisbane travellers are likely to be held up on the Bruce Highway and the M1 south-bound.
Adelaide traffic is likely to be thickest on the Sturt Highway, and in Perth the Kwinana Freeway is set for some slow-going.
Travellers in NSW are also warned that double demerits are now in place, while police are expected to be out in force in all states and territories.
