Two men have been charged over a wild fight that spilled into an Adelaide street in front of shocked witnesses today.

The men allegedly went back and forth with a shovel and a knife slashing through the air during the quarrel.

Residents claimed a shirtless man became sick of hearing a loud domestic fight that had been going on since early this morning in the suburb of Davoren Park.

The man allegedly charged up to the home just after midday, before the other man charged at him.

"One dude was coming across and unfortunately he was getting bricks thrown at him and then a shovel and unfortunately gets slashed with a knife as well and starts bleeding," one witness claimed.

"He just kept on swinging that bloody knife around like crazy," a neighbour claimed.
