A teenager has died and four of her friends are in hospital after a car crash in Sydney's west overnight.
Emergency crews were called to the Horsley Drive and Mimosa Road intersection at Wetherill Park after a Honda Accord left the road and crashed into a tree at 11.15pm yesterday.
The driver, 18-year-old Selina Ly, died at the scene.

Ly was on her red P-plates and had recently graduated from Cecil Hills High School.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated four other passengers for non-life-threatening injuries before they were taken to hospital for further treatment.
It's understood they had to be extracted from the car.
A 19-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were taken to Liverpool Hospital.
One has a serious chest injury.
A 17-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl are at Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
Anyone with dashcam footage has been urged to contact police.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
The death brings NSW road toll to 150 lives lost, 23 more than this time last year.
