This week is the final call for those to join St Catherine’s Moonlight and Memories Walk.

The walk raises funds for the charity, with people taking part in either a six or eight-mile circular route, both starting in St Catherine’s Park in Lostock Hall at 8pm.
Emma Jacovelli, head of community engagement, said: “We’re welcoming everyone to come together to experience the uplifting atmosphere and fantastic sense of community spirit at our biggest fundraising event of the year.
“There will be lots going on throughout the evening, from live music and glitter face-painting to dancing, stalls to buy light-up accessories and more.
“Funds raised will go towards our specialist care of local people affected by life-shortening illnesses at the hospice and in people’s own homes, as well as the vital emotional and bereavement support offered to patients’ families.”
