The beauty enthusiast posted a link to purchase The Ordinary’s Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion.

She described it as the “best” product that she owns.

“It’s around $10 and the benefits go above and beyond anti-aging — after using overnight, it leaves my skin baby-soft and I haven’t had a zit in months since using,” she wrote under the handle Kait65987.

“Their other products are great as well, but this is the one that has yielded immediate results.

“Also, too cheap to pass up.”

She said ¾ of a dropper is enough to cover her entire face nightly in the product.

The Redditor revealed she didn’t work her way up in retinoid strength.

“It’s actually the first (and only) retinoid I’ve ever used,” she said.

“They use a special type that doesn’t irritate or dry out your skin while still delivering results.

“You do still have to be careful and avoid overuse, so I only use it at night.”

BEAUTY BUYS

Many people were grateful for the product recommendation and up-voted the post.

EmulsionGranactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion costs $12.10 on The Ordinary’s website.

It has been formulated to reduce the signs of aging while also improving skin tone and texture.

The brand recommends applying a few drops of the product in the evening after using cleansers and water-based serums.

What are retinoids?

Retinoids are a form of vitamin A used in products to treat sun damage and reverse visible aging.

A patch test should be done before fully embracing retinoids in skincare routines, according to Healthline.

Experts recommend starting with a low-strength over-the-counter retinoid and increasing it over time.

Apply it three nights a week and gradually increase to nightly usage.

Delighted customers have given it a whopping 4.5-star rating out of a possible 5.

“Every night that I use this, I wake up looking beautiful,” one shopper said.

“Dark spots are lighter, texture is more smoother and plump.

“The formula feels smooth and creamy. And it melts right into my skin.

“I have been using this for years. I am 42 years old and I look about in my late 20s. And this is my secret lol.”

“Bought this last month and has been using it every night,” another wrote.

“I definitely see the difference and I love it. My skin glows.

“I have gotten too many compliments. Great product!”
