BASKETBALL analyst LaChina Robinson will add Olympics commentator to her already impressive resume this summer.
The women’s basketball icon will call USA games at the Paris 2024 Olympics for NBC live from France.

Robinson, 43, will join Noah Eagle in the broadcast booth for Team USA’s women’s games while Dwyane Wade will be on the call for the men.
It will be her third time at an Olympics for NBC after being part of the digital team at Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022.
“It’s surreal to think that I will be sitting in the analyst seat as our women’s national team competes for their unprecedented eighth consecutive gold medal,” said Robinson.
“I am humbled by this opportunity to represent the rich history of women’s basketball on this monumental stage.
“Thank you to NBC Sports and all the remarkable women who have sat in this seat before me.”
Robinson has become an award-winning broadcaster since joining ESPN in 2009 after a career change.
She used to be a cheerleader before trading the pompoms for a basketball when she got to college.
And Robinson played four years for Wake Forest in college basketball and was recognized for her talents both on the court and in the classroom.
The former college basketball star used her experience to launch a consulting company in 2008.
Her goal was to help facilitate careers for women and athletes in sports.
She spent seven years coaching at Georgia Tech with the women’s basketball team.
Robinson’s roles there included being director of basketball operations and special assistant to the head coach.
She has been part of the ESPN team covering basketball since 2009.
The first 12 years of her time with the network were spent covering college basketball as well as the WNBA.
Her busy calendar would include the NCAA Tournament, WNBA Playoffs, and WNBA Draft.

Now she focuses mainly on WNBA after the surge in interest in women’s basketball this year.
In a recent pic on Instagram, Robinson posed on the ESPN set while sitting courtside at a WNBA game.
She was joined by ESPN colleagues Monica McNutt and Carolyn Peck.
And her caption read, “When they ask me what my work life is like.
“I get to cover the game I love, with the people I love.
“End of story.”
