Hundreds of people attended in Preston as the city honoured the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.

The event was organised by Preston City Council and took place at The Flag Market and around The Guild Hall from around 1pm until 4pm.

Attendees enjoyed a parade, dance performances, a military vehicle display, a 1940s fashion show, workshops and an exhibition of Dickie Bird cartoons.
