THE Miami Dolphins have added some valuable experience to their roster by agreeing to terms on a contract with defensive end Calais Campbell.
Campbell, 37, has played in the NFL for 16 seasons and has six times been a Pro Bowler.

The 2023 campaign was something of a renaissance for Campbell with the Atlanta Falcons.
He had 6.5 sacks, his highest mark since 2019, as well as recording 56 tackles and 17 quarterback hits.
Falcons coach Raheem Morris suggested after last season that he wanted to keep Campbell.
“I talked to him about what my vision was and where it could potentially go,” Morris said.
“I’ll let him tell you what he’s going to do. I look forward to getting a chance to sit in front of him because he’s certainly as impressive as it gets.”
Instead, Campbell is on his way to Florida with the Dolphins.
His experience in pro football is vast, in a career that started with eight years at the Arizona Cardinals.
In more recent times, he has played for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens and Falcons.
Campbell joins a Dolphins defense that ranked second in the NFL last season and averaged 3.1 sacks per game.
Pass rusher Christian Wilkins has departed to join the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason however.
The news come just days after Miami added veteran safety Marcus Maye.
The 31-year-old was cut by the New Orleans Saints in March and has been a free agent since.
The Dolphins are keen to improve on their promising 2023 season.
They finished the regular season 11-6, seeing them into the playoffs.
They were no match for the Kansas City Chiefs on Wild Card weekend however, losing 26-7.
