RAY PARLOUR has led the well wishes to former team-mate Kevin Campbell, who has reportedly been hospitalised.

The former Arsenal and Everton striker, according to the Liverpool Echo, was recently admitted to hospital after falling ill last week.

The 54-year-old’s current condition is unknown at this moment in time.

News of Campbell’s hospitalisation sparked a slew of well-wishes from the Arsenal and Everton faithful alike.

Former Gunners star Parlour said in an X video: “I hear my ex-team-mate Kevin Campbell is struggling at the moment.

“All the football family are right behind you, Kev. I know you’re strong character, mate.

“Stay positive. I’m sure everyone is on your side trying to help you.

“Hopefully, you get well soon mate and you’ll be back flying as usual.”

Ex-QPR and Manchester City ace Trevor Sinclar wrote: “Sending prayer, love & light to Kevin Campbell.

“Absolutely lovely human.”

Campbell began his career at Arsenal and broke into the first team in 1988.

He would go on to make 213 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 59 goals and winning the old First Division, the FA Cup, the League Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup.

He’d later enjoy stints with Nottingham Forest, Trabzonspor, Everton and West Brom.

He called time on his career in May 2007 after the Baggies released him following their relegation from the Premier League.
