A teenage delivery driver was attacked as he tried to do his job on Sydney's northern beaches.
Police are now searching for up to eight people after rocks were thrown at Luke Egan's car in Freshwater, smashing almost every window and both windscreens.
Glass shattered onto him as he drove down Kooloora Avenue, just after 7pm last night.

"As I stopped the car I looked in the rear vision mirror. I just see eight guys running at me and pegging rocks all through the back window," he said.
"When it first happened I thought it was just two people so I was about to go out and go 'what's going on?'.
"As I went to hop out, there were eight guys."
The group of youths also smashed the windows of a family home.
Chris Hudson said he was sitting right by the window.

"I could have been sitting there with my newborn and rock could have gone through that window so it's very concerning," he said.
Police searched the streets and retrieved CCTV.
Despite the damage to his car, Egan still managed to ensure the food was delivered by walking to the house.
Police investigations continue.
