An Uber driver terrified his passengers after he allegedly tailgated another motorist in a road rage incident earlier this month.
Andrew and his wife were in the rideshare car on the way to Wynyard when a motorist cut them off on the Western Distributor in Sydney.
He alleged the driver then began tailgating and overtaking the motorist before stopping his car in the middle of the lane.

Footage from inside the car showed the driver leaving his engine running as he got out to argue with the motorist inside a busy tunnel.
His driver-side door was left wide open during early-morning traffic.
"When he got back in the car he said, 'If I didn't have passengers, I would've ripped the bloke's fingers off his hand'," Andrew told 9News.
Andrew has taken the matter up with Uber but does not believe the company has taken the complaint seriously.

Uber said it does not tolerate unsafe behaviour but, for privacy reasons, could not disclose whether the driver is still on the platform.
It did, however, acknowledge that drivers found to have breached community standards can be blocked from the app.
"He is not suitable to have passengers in the vehicle," Andrew said.
