An investigation has been underway for much of 2024 after reports of alleged child neglect at a Preston hotel.
Police received a report at around 7.30pm on January 31 of child neglect taking place at the Travelodge on New Hall Lane.
They have been making enquiries since that date and have now issued a witness appeal in relation to the incident.

The woman, pictured below, is not involved in the police’s investigation but they believe she may have witnessed the alleged offence.
They are urging her to get in touch or, if you recognise her, encourage her to come forward.
A spokesperson for police said: “We are looking to identify a potential witness in relation to our investigation into a report of alleged child neglect.
“We want to stress that this woman is only being treated as a witness and has no involvement in our investigation.
“If this is you, or if you know who this witness is, please contact us on 101 quoting log 1196 of January 31 2024.”
