A BRIT has been killed on a Greek holiday island in a horror crash after a driver smashed into a family walking along the road.
The 47-year-old woman was on holiday with her husband and in-laws in the town of Chania, on Crete.

The family was reportedly walking along a street in nearby Georgioupolis on Friday afternoon when a driver lost control of his car and ran over the woman and her 54-year-old sister-in-law, local reports said.
The woman was injured in the head but was picked up by an ambulance while still conscious.
A few hours later she died in Rethymnon Hospital in the town of Rethmino.
The sister-in-law had severe abrasions to her arms and legs.
The car ended up in a field with one image of the scene showing a damaged silver Peugeot next to an olive tree.
