A car was reportedly taken in suspicion circumstances at a major Lancashire event last month.
Police received a report of the theft of a car from The Great British Motor Show at Hoghton Tower on 30 June. The incident reportedly occurred at around 1pm on that day.
Police have been investigating the theft but have now issued an appeal to the public for information. Police did not make clear if it was an exhibition car or a member of the general public’s car.

As part of the appeal, they have released an image of a man, included below, that they want to speak with.
A spokesperson for police said: “We appreciate this happened some time ago, and whilst we have been making enquiries since that date, we are now asking for your help.
“The man we want to speak to was wearing a blue cap, grey and navy jacket, green The North Face shorts, black socks and grey Nike trainers at the time of the incident.
“We know these images aren’t of the highest quality, but if you witnessed the incident, or have dashcam footage of The Great British Car/Motor Show from 10am to 1pm, please call 101 quoting log 0697 of 30th June 2024 or email 5019@lancashire.police.uk”
