Fans have called for Gareth Southgate to ‘get him back on the pitch’[/caption]

Bowen has played just 35 minutes at the tournament so far after coming off the bench against Serbia and Denmark.

However, he was an unused substitute for the clashes with Slovenia and Slovakia.

The 27-year-old has now staked his claim to start Saturday’s quarter-final against Switzerland, though.

In a video shared by England’s official channels, Bowen brilliantly dispatched four separate chances in training.

He started by finding the inside netting with a first-time volley, before bending a left-footed strike into the top corner.

His masterclass continued with a delicate passed finish and concluded with Bowen tapping in Adam Wharton’s pass from close range.

Fans were left in awe of the footage as they called for Bowen to be given more opportunities by Gareth Southgate.

One supporter commented: “Get him back on that pitch!”

Another added: “Give him more minutes!”

A third fan also commented: “That first finish from Bowen is a joke. Wow.”

Meanwhile, one more simply said: “Let him play.”

Bowen has yet to score in 10 England caps since making his debut in June 2022.

However, he is fresh from scoring 20 goals in all competitions for West Ham last term.

The former Hull man finished the campaign as the Hammers’ top scorer for a second time.

Goals have been an issue for England in Germany, with just four goals from four matches.

Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane have shared those goals between them after scoring two each.
