ALLAN SAINT-MAXIMIN has quit Saudi Arabia after a year to join Fenerbahce on loan.
The winger made a £30milllion switch from Newcastle to Al-Ahli last summer.
He signed a three-year deal but is back in Europe after just a season, signing for Turkish giants Fenerbahce on loan.
The deal does not include an option to buy however so Saint-Maximin could play in the Saudi Pro League in future.
But this season Saint-Maxmimin will be tasked with helping Fenerbahce win the league after they missed out on top spot by just three points to fierce rivals Galatasaray last season.
Jose Mourinho has arrived at the club as manager but they have lost a key played in striker Michy Batshuayi, who joined Galatasaray.
However Mourinho has been hard at work in the transfer window with Saint-Maximin his sixth addition.
Fenerbahce have also signed former Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu, AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic, and Turkish full-back Levent Mercan.
Saint-Maximin, 27, received a warm reception as he waved to fans in Istanbul ahead of finalising his loan switch.
The winger scored four goals and provided ten assists in 31 games for Al-Ahli last season.
