Longridge Road in Ribbleton was shut as police responded to concern for welfare call

A busy road across the M6 was closed during Monday (8 July) morning.

Preston Police responded to a concern for welfare.

Emergency services were called to Longridge Road, Ribbleton, close to the motorway bridge over the M6.

A police spokesperson confirmed it was a concern for welfare call and no one was hurt in the incident.

The road has fully re-opened.
